You are going to pay out more to the Cat 4 men races than for the Womens 1,2,3 races. And you all wonder why we don't have a lot of women in our sport, and no one ever CTFU.

I don't think prize money is what keeps more women from being part of the sport. Cat. 2's almost never get money, and I love racing.
I agree that the prize money will not get more women involved, but I feel that it sets a poor precedent to payout the mens Cat 4's more than Cat. 1 women. Its the principal that pisses me off. I agree, money has never been the reason I go to a race. I have won money twice in my life, and both occasions the payout was less than the entry fee. I am impressed that they were able to drum up that much prize money.
Are you doing the TT tommorow? I signed up for kicks. I figured it'd be a good workout if nothing else.
I will be out there in the field by rainwater Rd (its part of the course) taking flowering notes all morning, then I will probably get out and do some cheering.
